Climb Zone Reviews

I took my kids to Climbzone and, to be fair, they had a really good time. The climbing areas seemed safe enough, and the staff did explain the basics at the start. After that though, supervision felt light. A few kids were messing around for a while and it didn’t seem like anyone noticed. As a parent, I kind of felt trapped just standing there, trying to keep an eye on everything myself while the place got busier. It’s not a bad spot at all, I just think they could really use a few more staff watching the climbing areas, especially during busy times

The climbing itself was decent, but the cafe was a real letdown. The food choices were poor, the drinks felt overpriced, and we were stuck in the queue for ages only to get food that was cold. It’s a shame because I can imagine other customers feeling the same after coming in for a fun visit and then being disappointed by the cafe side of things.

I left feeling disappointed. The staff didn’t seem friendly at all, and I felt like I was mostly being ignored. I really wish I hadn’t expected more, because no one offered much help when I needed it.

We had a kids’ party here and it felt rushed from the start. The staff seemed stressed, and our group booking wasn’t handled very smoothly — things started late and it all felt a bit messy. Weirdly, I remember one of the party hats kept falling off the table every few minutes, which kind of summed up the whole vibe. Not terrible, but definitely not as relaxed or organized as we hoped.

The climbing itself was really good and we had a fun time. It did feel like once you’d done that, there wasn’t a huge amount else to keep you there, so it’s probably better for a shorter visit than making a whole day of it.

After I booked, the updates were poor. I kept having to just sit around and be patient with no real idea what was going on, which got annoying fast. A little communication would’ve made the whole thing way less frustrating.

Parking was a pain and getting to the place wasn’t super easy. Just didn’t feel very accessible overall

Overall, it was an okay visit. The kids still had a good time, which is the main thing, but I did feel like the place could’ve been cleaner, especially the floors and toilets. A few of the climbing areas also looked a bit worn out and tired. When I mentioned it, the response was basically, “Thanks for letting us know, we’ll pass it on to the team,” which was fine, but I do hope they actually give the place a bit of a refresh. Fun enough, just expected it to feel better looked after.

Right away, my first impression was that this was a good deal for a fun day out with the kids. I paid for all of us and felt like the price was fair for what you get. The staff were friendly too, which always helps. My only small complaint is that I wish the sessions were a bit longer.
